OTHER
#2 BLISTERING was absolutely flying as she won Heat 3 on May 24 over the 800m, albeit with race fitness having had the 4x runs this prep. She’s turned into quite a consistent speedy filly since she finally broke her maiden at start #5 last prep, winning 2x BM64’s this prep. Look out for her over the synthetic season.

#18 CAPPELLETTI (6) - G Ryan & S Alexiou
May 20 (Rosehill H8) - super trial win over the 1030m here but the 2yo Capitalist colt that was a $725k Inglis Australian Easter Yearling purchase - he jumped midfield from the inside barrier, forced to take a sit behind the speed and as a result was hard held and over-racing a little in the middle stages but once he got the gap at the top of the straight, he showed his class to just cruise over the top to win with ease, albeit by only 0.66L.
This was dissimilar to his previous Apr 29 trial over 900m (also at Rosehill on a Heavy8 track) where he was able to hold the rail and boot up to lead where nothing could catch him, including Contemporary in 2nd (since 5th of 8) and Valspar in 3rd (since 8th of 9).
Looks a nice colt and love the 900m & 1030m trial platform ahead of his debut.
