FLEMINGTON - Race 9
OTHER
#2 NICOLINI VITO hit the line super in Heat 1 on Jul 1, winning in the fastest time of the morning but it was his work past the line where he opened up a huge gap on the field. He won a Jun 17 jump out impressively as well and looks to be flying ahead of his return to the races.
ROSEHILL - Race 10
OTHER
#12 SHADES OF ROSE was a $3.10 favourite at Rosehill on Saturday but the saddle shifted that resulted in her bucking and she took no part in the race. Forced to go back to the trials before heading back to the track, she won Heat 13 on Jul 6 over the 740m with absolute ease. As mentioned previously, she won her latest Jun 20 trial prior to that 1UP run in the fastest 900m time of the morning in a big ~5L win. She was undefeated prior to Saturdays mishap and it certainly wouldn’t shock to see her make up for that in her next start and go 4 from 5.

She's not a BlackBook runner having only had the 1x trial, but it was super on Jul 4, clocking 47.28s while the $2.50 favourite Innocent Moves clocked 47.67s when pushed out and finishing behind Fast Witness (2nd yesterday at Geelong). Query on the 1x trial, but looks a nice small E/W play at the $6/$2. |

#12 SHADES OF ROSE (12) - B Baker | Medium. Expecting her to bounce back here and be hard to beat. Forget her last start when the saddle slipped, she's trialled super and she should go very close to winning this. |
