A quiet day for the BlackBook - 2x BM70's to start at Sale followed by 3x 1700m+ races and then The Country Discovery and a pair of BM64's to finish the meeting - no maidens on the card as well as no racing in NSW, QLD or SA so happy to put the cue in the rack and have a quiet day.

#4 BATTLEGROUND resumed for the new stable in very impressive fashion, leading all the way to win a BM58 by 1.5L. Back to the jump outs for a tick over gallop, leading from start to finish in Heat 2 on Apr 6 where he won very easily in slick time, clocking 53.04s vs day’s average of 54.31s & our overall average of 54.59s. Looking for a BM64 second up, he can run well again.
#6 NEVER SAY NAY cruised to the line out wide in Heat 8 on Mar 25, finishing 2nd to the Group 3 placed New York Baby.
