SALE - Race 6
Super win by #7 FRENZY LUNE in Heat 7 on Sep 27, winning by several lengths in slick time. She was only fair first up on a Heavy10 track at Cranbourne, given a 10-week let up into this and potentially didn’t handle the wet track that day. She was 3rd in a BM64 last prep, so we’re expecting a better run second up here. Looking for a 1000m BM58.
OUR THOUGHTS / BETS
Sale, Race 6 - FRENZY LUNE
Comes back in a BM64 rather than the BM58 we were hoping for, but that jump out was really good. Ratings wise, she needs to improve (a fair bit) to be a chance here.
Interesting that on two runs on Good track she's ran 1st and 3rd, but the two runs on wet tracks have been 11th of 11 (Soft) and 6th of 8 (Heavy). We get a Soft6 track here, which doesn't help the confidence but it looks as though the weather will be nice and we might get an upgrade.
The two favourites in impressive last start maiden winner SUPER THIEF and Hungry Heart's little sister DUTY DYNASTY are going to be hard to beat.
Currently around the ~$26 mark, we would probably expect her to get out a bit further but at the current price, we can have a small spec - don't have a lot of confidence.
