SALE - Race 1
#10 INNOCENT ENUFF (4) - L McGill
Potentially a nice filly for Logan McGill here in INNOCENT ENUFF. The 2yo Rich Enuff filly has strung together three jump out wins now, all quite impressive. Her first on Apr 27 was a solid win over 700m where she clocked as slowish time for the morning at 45.69s (vs days average of 44.87s). She then put together a nice bit of work over 750m on May 4 where she clocked the third fastest time of the morning at 48.18s (vs days average of 48.72s). Her most impressive bit of work was certainly in Heat 11 on May 18, bouncing out of the gates to take up the lead and when asked for a little bit of an effort at the top of the straight, she put a space on the rest of the field with ease. Will note that she clocked 51.82s, which was a bit slower than the days average of 50.88s but she did handle the Heavy track well enough here. Huge watch on this filly on debut.
SALE - Race 2
OTHER
#5 LUCKY SUN was a $22,500 purchase from the Inglis Online Sales for Gavin Bedggood and looks as though he could be another nice buy, winning Heat 18 on May 16 over the 1000m in the third fastest time of the morning. He was a quiet 4th in a previous May 2 jump out over 800m and despite being a 7-start maiden coming down from NSW, he can go okay here in a country maiden.
#11 BANK MAUR really caught the eye as he cruised to the line in 3rd place in Heat 17 on May 16 over the 1000m, he was ridden with no urgency yet still only went down by 1-2L. He won an Apr 11 jump out over 850m, pushed out to win as he closed over the top of subsequent 2L debut maiden winner at Caulfield, Lincoln Square. He was a $130k purchase from the 2021 Inglis Melbourne Premier Yearling Sale and looks a nice colt for Richard Laming.
SALE - Race 4
OTHER
JEZOULENKO was a class above as the 3yo filly led from start to finish in Heat 4 on May 13, clocking the third fastest time of the morning in the process. The un-raced 3yo colt #3 GEORGIE GET MAD was put under a bit of pressure at the top of the straight, even shown the whip but once warm, the son of Australia really got going and was bolting through the line, doing his best work past the line where he was in front. He’s a nice looking colt that will get over some distance, so keep him in mind as he gets out over a trip.
#6 RURA PENTHE was under a ridiculous hold in his first jump out on Apr 29, just cruising behind the leaders and never being let go. He was put under more pressure in Heat 6 on May 13, but looked to respond well as he finished alongside Elteecee (who was trotting out wide) and ahead of the likes of Endlessly and Lady In The Sky. The un-raced 3yo son of Maurice was a $210k purchase from the 2020 Inglis Classic Yearling Sale for Orbis Bloodstock and has shown enough to go well on debut.

#5 LUCKY SUN (11) - G Bedggood | Medium. |
#11 BANK MAUR (6) - R Laming | Medium - 2YO taking on the older horses, but looks a smart colt. |
Sale, Race 4 | |
#3 GEORGIE GET MAD (7) - D Pagan | Low/Medium - unlikely he wins this, but can have a small spec at a big price (at least saving to break even with our bet on Rura Penthe). |
