OTHER
#3 MIMOSAS hasn’t quite been able live up to the hype of her debut win at Flemington, which was over a year ago now but her win in Heat 16 on May 18 in the second fastest 750m time of the morning certainly suggested she has more wins in store. She’s contested some tough races, but being only 65-rated it’ll certainly be worth following her hopefully into a BM64 to get some confidence before going back in town.

Pakenham, Race 4
On a personal note, I have my first runner as an owner in Race 4 at Pakenham, by the name of MR ROUQUIN. He was purchased from NZ on the back of a 1000m trial win back in January earlier this year. He's had the 2x 800m jump outs at Flemington on Apr 29 (behind Ma And Pa and alongside Spicy who won at Geelong on Sunday) and May 6 when 4th in both, followed by a 1100m trial at Traralgon on May 18 where he finished 2nd to Luna Chara (since 3rd in a BM58) after doing it tough on speed and out wide with no cover. The 1100m here on debut is short of his preferred trip as there's no doubt that he'll get out over further (1600m+), but he's ready to go first up and this looks a winnable race - I'm very glad we don't have any BlackBook runners against him!!
Would love a winning debut from him (stable think he's a nice E/W bet at $14/$4) - cheers, Braeden.
