#3 INUNDATION (1) - M Price & M Kent Jnr
INUNDATION won’t be a maiden for much longer. He was a beaten $1.35 favourite on debut when 2nd where Immortal Spirit (3rd) won next start and Dazzling Lucy (4th) won her next two starts. He has been given time since that run, returning to win Heat 10 on May 9 over the 760m on the synthetic track well clocking a very slick time, the fastest for the day and the third fastest overall time. He also beat plenty of previous winners such as Wolflands, Letzxcel and Shame For Fame. First jump out back is a good one, he’s a big watch this prep.
There is no doubt that INUNDATION is ready to go back to the races and break his maiden. As mentioned after last weeks 760m synthetic win on May 9 ahead of Wolflands, he was a beaten $1.35 favourite on debut when 2nd where Immortal Spirit (3rd) won next start and Dazzling Lucy (4th) won her next two starts. He won well there in slick time, winning again over 800m here in Heat 13 on May 16, clocking 46.60s which was above the days average of 47.02s and the equal-second fastest time of the morning. The most appealing part of this jump out was the fact that he was put under pressure and responded, kicking away over the concluding stages to record a big dominant win. He should be winning first up.

Should be a simple ride, straight to the front from barrier 1 and lead the whole way. He's very short at ~$1.35, too short to take as a single bet but he should just win this - monitor if he gets out closer to the jump (seems very unlikely though). |
