Monitor #14 GOOD LIFE DIVA who was making good ground out wide in Heat 8 on Nov 12 and was in front past the line. Only her first jump out this prep but she looked to move alright.

OUR THOUGHTS
Wangaratta, Race 4 - GOOD LIFE DIVA
With only one last start rating below +10, being RUE MAUDE at +8.2, and her being one of only two debutants in the race, it won't take a huge debut to win this. Expecting improvement from VAN ROY coming back for his second preparation and has jumped out well in the lead up.
She was well backed in early markets after opening $11 on TAB. She's drawn lovely with barrier 5 and looks well placed. However, her latest jump out on Nov 19 (above) has dampened the confidence a bit and it's not the best sign when D Oliver rides in the jump outs but isn't on for race day, albeit without a ride at Wangaratta at all.
Looking into her breeding too, she's out of a daughter of Makybe Diva who got out over 1600m/2000m but failed to win a race. She's a half sister to Touch Of Mink who won three races in her career over 1400m, 1600m and 2025m. Expecting this 1000m on debut to be well short of her best so she looks to be one to follow deeper into her prep. Her jump out's were good, but not good enough to be diving in with a few question marks. She can win, but we won't be on.
