BALLARAT - Race 1
OTHER
#3 CHARACTER went stride for stride with recent maiden winner Mynumerouno in a May 28 jump out and was the only one not off the bridal and pushed out in Heat 9 on Jun 11 (blue). The 3yo colt travelled beautifully on speed throughout with (who looked like) D Oliver on board and looked as though he could’ve taken over and won if asked. He debuted in NSW at $4.60 against Finance Tycoon and Shquero before stepping up to 1300m and finishing a 2.6L 4th. He’s a big watch in a VIC maiden.
Looked as though the 1000m at Moe on a Heavy8 track was a bit sharp for him, especially after being slowly away and having to settle a bit further back than anticipated. Will be better suited second up now as he steps up to 1200m and looks as though D Oliver is only going for the one ride. Looks an E/W bet.

#1 STRIPPED BACK went to the outside fence and just cruised to the line to win Heat 15 on Jun 22 very well, defeating handy gallopers Revlis and Rose Of Sebring. His debut win was super, with 2nd coming out and winning by 2.2L next start. He can go through his grades this preparation.
