Our figures and benchmark ratings are from PuntingForm.

RANDWICK - Race 1

OTHER

Would love to see #17 ONE DESTINY head to a maiden first up this preparation. He’s contested city races (G3, G2, HCP & LR) in four of his five career runs, the other was in a maiden when 2nd to Okami Miss. He’s been given time, returning in Heat 8 on Jun 24 in a very slick performance, winning by 4L in 47.06s which was the fastest time of the morning and is the third fastest time overall for jump outs between 801m and 816m. This was only the geldings first trial back, so hoping to see another bit of work prior to resuming but he’s one we need to monitor.

RANDWICK - Race 7

OTHER

#13 SIR KALAHAD sprinted away from the talented and speedy Ancestry with ease to win Heat 13 on Jul 4. He’s been quite disappointing this prep, beating home only the 1x runner in his two runs at BM84 level so far. He’s now 78-rated and likely needs to head to a 1200m BM78 third up now to be a betting proposition. He’s a bit hard to trust, but if we get a nice price on the back of this trial, he’s worth a spec.

CAULFIELD - Race 6

OTHER

Super keen to see the return of #14 MRS CHRISSIE, a very impressive 4.5L winner on debut for us. The 3yo filly was 2nd in Heat 2 on Jun 29 behind the 84-rated Zipping Boy while ahead of Bless Her and Felicia in a nice return performance over 900m where they clocked the fastest time of the morning. Always had a nice opinion of her.

Confidence - Comments

Randwick, Race 1

#17 ONE DESTINY (10) - G Nickson

Low.

Resumes first up in town again with barrier 10 of 10 on a Heavy track and on the back of only 1x trial. Not keen but she is $81 (and likely longer by the time they jump), so might be worth a couple $ just in case.

Randwick, Race 7

#13 SIR KALAHAD (8) - G Bedggood

Low/Medium.

Suspect they've gone to Sydney to find a Heavy track (where he's 8: 3-1-1). This trial was on a H8 and it was super, but he's in a BM88 with a very light 54kg. Looks a smaller E/W chance.

Caulfield, Race 2

#1 ZIPPING BOY (5) - J Hunter

Low/Medium.

He won that Jun 29 jump out ahead of Mrs Chrissie and this 4yo gelding is $21+? - seems well over the odds and can entertain a small bet.

Caulfield, Race 6

#14 MRS CHRISSIE (11) - P Rocke

Low/Medium.

She resumes off of only 1x JO, so she'll have plenty of improvement to come from this first up run. She may need the run, but she's also very talented.
