This was a really nice return by #11 INEBRIATING for the new stable, taking up Heat 7 on Aug 9 up the straight in her first jump out back after finishing 10th of 10 on debut back in April at Sandown when with Scott Cameron. Excelida and Treporti were making ground late but she travelled comfortably throughout regardless.
Pretty good jump out form. Scratched from a Warracknabeal maiden the other day that was won by a smart Fortunate Kiss. Think he can make a nice resumption here for the new stable with barrier 1 but not a stack of confidence.
MILDURA - Race 4
OTHER
This was a super return by #4 HENDRIKA, taking out Heat 7 on Aug 11 very comfortably as the 5yo mare led throughout before coming down the middle of the track and closing very well. She has had the two first up runs for 1x win and 1x placing (2nd), so she goes well fresh and would love to see her pop up in a BM58 first up now. Watching for another jump out before resuming first though.
Started $9 in a Sandown CL1, but was pretty poor and subsequently has switched stables to A Bobbin and pops up in a country BM58 - will be much more suited in this grade and having only had the 1 jump out prior to resumption, will be a lot fitter now second up.
Brings in the clear top last start benchmark and has the clear peak benchmark from the last 2 years. Sets up well for her and she has her best chance of winning another race here - should win this.
