Of the 522x times we have at Flemington on the Steeple Grass, #1 TREKKING’s time of 44.90s in Heat 1 on Apr 14 is the second fastest time we recorded (the quickest being 44.27s by Hey Doc) and he did so under a vice like grip. Will note that he is race fit having competed in the William Reid only 3 weeks prior but this was super.

Morphetville, Race 6 - TREKKING
TREKKING is third up here over 1100m in a winnable Group 3. His record third up is 8: 3-1-2 while his record at the distance is 7: 4-0-1 and at the track he’s 1: 1-0-0 (being the Goodwood back in 2020). He gets a good track, which he clearly prefers over the wet with a record of 31: 9-4-6. His jump out at Flemington was absolutely sizzling, recording the second fastest 800m time at Flemington since September 2019, so he’s certainly in good order and would expect him to run very well here.
He’s the highest rated horse at 112 but carries the same weight as the others at 58.5kg, except Instant Celebrity and Bella Vella who get 56.5kg due to the mares allowance of course.
