A pair of handy jump outs now for #3 THE PHILOSOPHISER, finishing 2nd on Apr 28 to Snappy Jim (since 5th in MDN at $51) prior to winning Heat 6 on May 17 ahead of the 69-rated Cosmic Rhapsody and 66-rated Swamp Vixen while clocking the third fastest 850m time of the morning. Watching past the line, the son of Choisir was still extending away as he went on with it in encouraging signs. Keeping a close eye on this un-raced 4yo gelding.

#7 ROSE TYCOON started $2.90 last start at Moonee Valley, finishing 3rd with some nice enough form coming from the race now. She was hard held in her return jump out on Apr 21, but was put through her paces in her latest jump out, winning Heat 11 on May 10 over the 1000m in 58.16s (vs days average of 59.60s), which was the fastest time of the morning. Dissimilar to past McEvoy jump out winners, she sat behind the speed with cover before peeling out around the bend and closing well when asked. Like how she showed a turn of foot and didn’t just lead. She should be going close to breaking her maiden this prep.

#7 ROSE TYCOON (7) - T & C McEvoy	Medium - deserves favouritism but can't be diving into ~$1.40, just too short to play as a single. Could take the $2.40 on TopSport for a multi with INUNDATION tomorrow and back The Philosophiser as a single to knock her off (back both for even returns).
