PAKENHAM - Race 4
#4 IT'S NEVER ENUFF (2) - L McGill
IT’S NEVER ENUFF can go close to winning on debut. The 3yo gelding had a quiet 650m jump out on Mar 24, going to the line with Divine Wit who has since ran 3rd behind a handy Just Malcolm. Stepping up to 1000m in Heat 3 on Apr 21 (red and yellow), he sat off the pace near last before peeling wide and hitting the line under his own steam. A nice jump out without winning or even placing. He looked like he had a bit under the hood and as a $110k Magic Millions purchase, he might have some talent. He made good ground past the line too. One to watch.
OTHER
The winner of Heat 7, #3 IMPRINTED, is out of the mare Indelible who was 2nd in the SA Oaks back in 2007. Despite being by Written Tycoon, this 3yo colt looks to be better suited over a bit further. Coming off a 6-week freshen up having had two runs at 1200m and 1400m, he looks set to be peaking third up and looks likely to step up to a mile or so. Probably won’t be a big price though having started below $3 in both career runs. One to watch regardless.
